Plano ISD will remain closed on Thursday, Jan. 29, according to an update from the district.

What you need to know: According to the update, the condition of main roads is improving but the district “cannot guarantee safe commute conditions for students and staff” due to remaining icy conditions on neighborhood streets.

All PISD schools and facilities will be closed, and any district and campus activities scheduled for Jan. 29 will be canceled. PISD schools have been closed since Jan. 26.
