CLS Health to celebrate 20th anniversary in Webster

CLS Health Comprehensive Care Clinic will be celebrating its 20th anniversary toward the end of October, an employee with the clinic said.

What they offer: CLS Health in Webster is a three-building campus that provides comprehensive care from primary care providers. Services include cardiology, eye care, orthopedics and sports medicine, pain management and pediatrics, among other services, according to the clinic’s website.

College of the Mainland to unveil new dental hygiene clinic

College of the Mainland will be hosting a grand opening for its newest dental hygiene clinic Oct. 24, according to a news release from the college. 

The overview: The clinic allows students to learn individual patient experience and clinical training in the field of dental hygiene, according to the college’s website. Patients for the clinic are selected based on the educational experience their case provides to students.

The details: Services will be provided by first- and second-year dental hygiene students under the supervision of the college’s licensed dentists and dental hygiene faculty. Services are provided to adults and children ages five and up, according to the college's website.

H-E-B president to retire, chief operating officer to step into the role

A San Antonio-based grocery chain with a stronghold across Texas is now facing a change in leadership.

In case you missed it: H-E-B President Craig Boyan announced his intention to step down from his role, effective in January 2026.

He’ll subsequently retire at the end of next year, according to a Sept. 30 news release from the company.

As a result, current H-E-B Chief Operating Officer Roxanne Orsak will take his place.

Zooming in: Orsak started her career at H-E-B in 1988 as a store manager, rising through the ranks to become the COO in 2022, according to the release.

“I am honored to continue to shape the future of this great company with integrity, heart and a relentless pursuit of excellence,” Orsak said.

The context: The leadership change comes in tandem with H-E-B’s continued expansion in Texas.

New storefronts in San Antonio, Georgetown, Prosper and more have opened within the last two months, as previously reported by Community Impact.

Mia’s Table, a southern comfort food restaurant, is slated to come to the Market at Town Center in Sugar Land, according to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations filing.


The casual family-friendly eatery serves a variety of burgers, tacos, sandwiches, salads and seafood options, according to its website.


The menu lineup also features chicken fried steak, meatloaf and chicken strips, as well as milkshakes.

Sake Bon officials said the Japanese eatery has plans to expand with a location in Kingwood by early October.


According to the website, Sake Bon offers all-you-can-eat Japanese cuisine including soups, sushi, noodles, rice and hibachi. Appetizers offered range from edamame to spring rolls and fried calamari.
