Peggy's on the Green set to close after 9 years serving Boerne

This Southern-style restaurant in Boerne plans to close at the end of the month.

Current situation: Peggy’s on the Green, situated inside The Kendall at 128 W. Blanco Road, is closing its doors on Nov. 30, restaurant staff told Community Impact.

While the eatery is closing, staff said a new concept with a similar team and chef is expected to take its place.

“The new owners are transitioning food & beverage in-house, and we’ll be closing to make room for the inn’s next chapter and Chef Bohanan’s future vision,” the restaurant announced on a Nov. 6 Facebook post.

Staff said the eatery could reopen under a new name with a similar menu as soon as Dec. 3.

Diving deeper: Peggy’s on the Green first opened in 2016, according to the restaurant’s website.
