With all 88 precincts reporting, unofficial election results for the Republican primary for Brazos County Commissioner Precinct 2 show Kyle Greenwood with 3,367 votes, or 49.89%, and Jordan Januse with 2,302 votes, or 34.11%.
Jeff Murski currently has 1,080 votes, or 16%, unofficial results show.
The breakdown: If Greenwood cannot obtain a majority ahead of the results being finalized, a runoff between him and Januse will be triggered. If this is the case, a runoff will be scheduled for May 26.
What else: Meanwhile, in the Republican primary for Brazos County Commissioner Precinct 4, Peter Michelena obtained 918 votes, or 64.92%, to Andre Malone's 496, or 35.08%, unofficial results show.
The results mean Michelena will face Democratic incumbent Wanda Watson in November, who won her primary on March 3 against Prentiss Madison. Watson obtained 2,370 votes, or 73.24%, to Madison's 866 votes, or 26.76%.
