The main dining room of the Sicilian Butcher reopened in Mid-November after a temporary closure.

The gist: The dining area was closed Nov. 8 after a small fire, according to a social media post, and no one was harmed but the restaurant had to close temporarily to assess damage and the cause of the fire.

Texana Bank now offers banking, mortgage services in Keller

Texas-based Texana Bank opened a new location along Keller Parkway in late November.

The details: Texana Bank offers personalized banking services for checking, savings and loans. Businesses can also open a small business checking account and use other business services like credit cards and auto books.

The Keller location is next to Texana Bank’s Mortgage Main office, according to its website.

Cook Children’s officials recommend immunizations as respiratory virus rates increase

Cases for two flu variations and respiratory syncytial virus, or RSV, have more than doubled since the end of October, according to data from Cook Children's Health Care in Fort Worth.

In a nutshell: More than 11% of all patients tested at Cook Children’s Medical Center-Fort Worth for respiratory viruses on the week of Nov. 9 were positive for Flu A, Flu B or RSV. The hospital tested a total of 757 patients during that week.

By comparison, the hospital tested 633 patients on the week of Oct. 26 and saw 5.53% of those patients tested positive for one of the three respiratory viruses.
