Arapaho Road to see lane closures through mid-October

Drivers along Richardson roads can expect to see various lane closures on Arapaho Road due to ongoing street pavement construction work.

The details: Through mid-October, westbound Arapaho Road stretching from Jupiter Road to Plano Road will see various alternating lane closures, according to a city news release. The closures began in early October and will be in place from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. daily until mid-October.

One more thing: Drivers can also expect lane closures on Mimosa Drive, Coit Road and Campbell Road for the next few months due to fiber-optic work.

Hurtado Barbecue offers Tex-Mex barbecue at Oak Highlands Brewery

Hurtado Barbecue is now open at Oak Highlands Brewery.

The details: Hurtado Barbecue’s permanent food truck opened at the brewery Oct. 3, according to a social media post from the business. The local barbecue chain’s menu includes various smoked meats, birria tacos, Mexican street corn and tres leches banana pudding.

One more thing: Hurtado Barbecue has locations in Arlington, Dallas, Fort Worth and Mansfield.
