Alpha & Omega Chiropractic moving to new location in Keller

Keller City Council approved a specific use permit that will pave the way for Alpha & Omega Chiropractic to relocate.

During the June 16 meeting, council voted to move of the business from 225 S. Elm St. to 121 Lorine St. With the location being in the Old Town Keller zoning district, council members had to approve the operation of a medical office in that zoning area.

Zooming in: Dr. Hannah Traweek said the practice hopes to be in the new location—the former spot of Houghton Horns—by the end of the year.

The practice provides tailored wellness plans, prenatal and maternal chiropractic care, according to its website. According to city documents, Alpha & Omega plans to design the space to be supportive of complementary services that may include massage therapy, lactation consulting and ultrasound services.

On The Transportation Beat
Frontier Airlines adds previous Spirit Airlines route from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport

Frontier Airlines announced it would add eight new routes that were previously operated by Spirit Airlines.

The details: One of the new routes, which started July 5, connects Dallas Fort Worth International Airport to Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport in New Orleans.

There will be daily flights to and from DFW Airport, out of Terminal E.

What they’re saying: “We are pleased to grow our service across the country to ensure low-cost flight options remain available to consumers as they plan their travel this summer and beyond,” said Josh Flyr, Frontier Airlines vice president of network and operations design. “With premium upgrades paired with our signature affordability, we are thrilled to show travelers why we are America’s low-fare airline.”

Walmart improvements, new Hot Topic: 5 construction permits filed around DFW

A new Hot Topic is coming to Allen, and Walmart in Prosper will undergo three months of renovations. Check out five major construction permits filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation around Dallas-Fort Worth. This list is not comprehensive. 

Train 4 Tomorrow
TDLR documents show Train 4 Tomorrow, a gym in Richardson that offers fitness classes and personal training will convert an office building on Twilight Trail into a gym. The conversion will cost about $18.39 million and start in mid-July, per TDLR documents.

Walmart renovations
The Walmart location on Richland Boulevard in Prosper will undergo three months of renovations starting in January, TDLR documents state. The renovations include reconfiguring the sales floor and remodeling the store’s interior and exterior.
