From coffee shops to eateries, there are several hispanic owned businesses to support during hispanic heritage month in the Cy-Fair and Cypress area. Andaluz Vegan What began as a small pop-up tucked inside the former Celaya Meat Market shopping center on Jones Road and FM 1960, has grown into Andaluz. A vegan Mexican restaurant where owner Alejandro Arregain transforms his family’s traditional recipes into plant-based dishes.
Hach Ki Cafe Co-owned by Martha Palacios, Hach Ki Cafe offers Latin fusion of pastries and coffee sourced from local distributors as well as pastries made fresh in house each morning. The cafe offers Mexican and Argentinian pastries, including conchas, cuernitos, guayaba bread, tres leches cake and empanadas. Taqueria Agave De Jalisco Restaurant owner Angel Hernandez said he opened the restaurant along with his brother Gregoria Hernandez and brother-in-law Cristel Piña. Menu items offered include tacos, fajitas, enchiladas and tortas. The restaurant also offers breakfast items and lunch specials.
